About Us

Our Story

Let's talk!

North Star was formed with a guiding principle of providing direction and inspiration for living a well- balanced mental health. At North Star, the goal of our counsellors is to provide support and guidance to individuals who seek counselling services. We ensure as counsellors we create a therapeutic environment for our clients to help them become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and promoting a trustworthy and confidential client/counsellor relationship.

We believe counselling is a collaborative effort between the counsellor and the client. We help our clients identify goals and potential solutions to problems, and empower them to make positive changes in their lives.

Seeking help is often the most difficult step of the journey and we appreciate finding a suitable counsellor can also be a tough task. We acknowledge that it can be a daunting experience, particularly if you’ve never attended counselling before. Therefore, we offer a free consultation session of 15 minutes via phone or video call to answer any questions you may have about the counselling process.

Here at North star Counselling and Therapy, we offer both face-to-face (in-person) and video counselling. We offer both short-term and long-term counselling and have various evening and weekend slots available that suite you.

We guarantee:

» Confidential and professional consultation

» Late and weekend opening hours

» A warm, comfortable and friendly environment

» Free initial 15 minutes consultation over the phone
